Perhutanan Sosial dalam Pembangunan Wilayah dan Aksi Perubahan Iklim
Beta Reader · Seri Bunga Rampai FIP-1 · Book 2 · 2023
2 of 3 anthology publication of Forest Investment Program 1 (FIP-1), a five-year joint cooperation of MOEF Indonesia and Asian Development Bank.
This book details the REDD+ approach used to decrease deforestation and halted degradation to zero. Throughout 2017-2023, out of the target of 3.7 million tons of CO2e in emission reduction over ten years, 1.8 million tons had been achieved by 2022. This figure can assist Indonesia in reaching its Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) targets. Furthermore, resort-based forest management has also become a mainstay in climate crisis mitigation by involving communities in natural regeneration and fire patrols to prevent forest fires.
